Internship

The goal of the internship program is to assist students that are still at school to get experiential learning that is required by the college/university.

Entry Requirements

Only students that are coming with a letter from school specifying the need to do internship before a diploma/degree is conferred are accepted

Overview

The Graduate Trainee program provides graduates in various disciplines with the opportunity to gain exposure, on-the-job experience and to develop competence in line with their field of study. Candidates serving under this program follow a structured profession-specific and performance-driven program and are placed in departments relevant to their field of study within MCL. All candidates must have an aptitude for practical application coupled with self-motivation and willingness to learn in an industrial environment.

Entry Requirements

• A diploma/degree in your specific field of study is essential
• Students who have done their internship with MCL get first preference into the GIT program.

Overview

In partnership with the goverment (DIVT), MCL employs local students for development in Engineering fields like Mechanical, Boiler Making, Electrical and Diesel Mechanic

Entry Requirements

Credits in Mathematics, Physical Science and in English Language.

Being a local community member is an added advantage.

Overview

A learnership is a structured learning programme that includes theoretical and practical workplace experiential learning over a period of 6-12 months. These are candidates who have completed their tertiary qualification and are looking for practical exposure in their field of study.

• A degree or diploma in your specific field of study.
• Students who have done their internships with MCL get first preference.
