The mine caters to a niche market due to the characteristics of its anthracite coal which includes: low ash, low volatiles and high carbon content. The product sizing ranges from 0mm – 45mm producing 5 different saleable products:

o Sizeable – comprising of: small nuts and peas

o Fines – comprising of: duff and breeze

o Ultra Fines – comprising of spiral product.
